Underwater Ceramic Tiles in Lobster Frames

These are some of our larger ceramic tiles in frames. They are 8″ x 8″ tiles that we make into a diamond style and place in our half lid Lobster Trap Frames. We also have some 6″x6″ ceramic tiles in lids and double 4.25″x4.25″ ceramic tiles in lids with our underwater photos. We make these frames from authentic lids used to lobster in the Florida Keys. We then put a slat of lobster wood around the tile in the 8″x8″ size and finish it off with a window box to give it a 3 dimensional look. In the 6″x6″ and 4.25″x4.25″ sizes we only use a window box around the tiles on the lid. All these ceramic tiles in frames we produce and print at our gallery in Islamorada. We also make all the frames at our shop located in Islamorada as well. The underwater photos in frames is our specialty.

We take all the photographs that you see in the Florida Keys, Caribbean, and the rest of the world. My wife and I have taken hundreds of thousands of these underwater photos and enjoy every time we take another trip to shoot them. We never know what we are going to see!

All of our frames come with an authentic lobster or stone crab tag. We collect these tags from the fishermen. They used them during the previous seasons. Some are expired are in new condition therefore these were not used in the year they were issued for.
